Dole does not relent, releases second ad

Elizabeth Dole’s lawyers are asking Kay Hagan’s to dismiss their lawsuit.  Dole’s lawyers maintain the first “godless” ad is factual.  Additionally, Dole has unleashed another “godless” ad.

Dole receives endorsement

Under the Dome reports that the conservative, Washington, D.C.-based Washington Times has endorsed Elizabeth Dole.  Hagan spokesman Matthew Miller jokingly refers to it as Dole’s “hometown” newspaper, referencing her little amount of time spent in the state.

Hagan racks up endorsements

Nearly every major daily newspaper in the state has endorsed state senator Kay Hagan in the 2008 Senate Race, as compiled by Under the Dome.

Endorsers include: Raleigh News & Observer, Charlotte Observer, Asheville Citizen-Times, Winston-Salem Journal, Greensboro News-Record, Wilmington Star-News and Durham Herald-Sun.

Public Policy Planning has released its latest survey results – Hagan 49, Dole 42, Cole 4.  Hagan widens her lead and leads the PPP poll for the 7th straight time.
